Rev. Fr. Timothy Curren

Reverend Father Timothy Curren was born in Boston and raised in Reading, Massachusetts. He was received into the Orthodox Church in 2005 at Taxiarchae/Archangels Greek Orthodox Church in Watertown Massachusetts. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell with a Bachelors degree in English in 2008 and attended Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology earning a Masters of Divinity in 2013.

In 2011 he married his wife, Nijmeh Hodaly of Bethlehem, Palestine. They lived for one year in Germany where Presvytera Nijmeh had studied so she could get work experience as an MD before immigrating to the US. Upon returning to the Untied States, Father Timothy continued pursuing his studies at Holy Cross.

In October 2013 Father Timothy and Presvytera Nijmeh welcomed their beloved daughter Róisín into the world. Father Timothy was ordained to the diaconate on October 6, 2013, at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Dracut, Massachusetts. He was ordained to the Holy Priesthood on November 3rd, 2013 at St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church in Peabody, MA where he served as assistant priest for two years. In September, 2015 Fr. Timothy was assigned as Proistamenos of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Dover, NH. In July 2016 Presvytera gave birth to their second daughter, Nara.
