Metropolis of Boston - Fall Camp 2016
Recharge. Reconnect. Retreat.
On the weekend of October 7th-9th the Metropolis of Boston Camp held its second ever Fall Camp session. The camp embraced over 75 GOYA aged campers from all over the Metropolis. The theme of the weekend was "Recharge. Reconnect. Retreat." which is exactly what our camping ministry offers our youth.
Recharge: Our youth come to camp where they are offered the opportunity to recharge their spiritual batteries and once again realize the importance of their relationship with the Crucified and Risen Lord.
Reconnect: Our youth come to camp where they reconnect with friends, old and new, from different parts of the Metropolis and enjoy fun and fellowship, while also learning about our rich faith and cultural heritage.
Retreat: Our youth retreat into the safe and loving embrace that MBC offers; a place where they can have tons of fun, but also a place where they can find silence and retreat into their heart and speak to God.
The camp is blessed to have a team of over 20 young adults serve on its staff for the fall session. It is important to note that it would be impossible to run a camp program without the dedication and hard work of the young adults of our Metropolis, who give 100% of their love and energy to provide our youth with a safe, fun-filled, faith centered experience.
