His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios Visits St. Nicholas Parish in Lexington, MA for Feastday Vespers

On the evening of December 5, 2016 His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios, joined by many clergy and faithful from the surrounding area, celebrated the Great Vespers service at the St. Nicholas parish in Lexington, MA on the occasion of their feast day.

In his remarks, His Eminence congratulated Fr. Demetrios on the ministry that he has offered during the last 9 years at the St. Nicholas parish, wising upon him many more years of fruitful ministry there.

It was a distinct joy for His Eminence when he was informed that there were 14 young men who were to be tonsured. In addressing the young men, His Eminence encouraged them to set aside some time every day so that they can enter into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He also noted to the young men that they would be reading many books throughout their lives but no book is as important as the Gospel, for it is in the Gospel that we read God's Word.
