Archbishop Elpidophoros Visits The Annunciation Cathedral of New England

On Sunday, September 15, 2019 His Eminence Archbishop Elpidoporos visited the Annunciation Cathedral of New England. The Archbishop was warmly greeted by the Dean of the Cathedral, Fr. Demetrios Tonias, the president of the parish council, Bob Badavas , and youth and parishioners of the parish. The Archbishop celebrated the Divine Liturgy together with Metropolitan Methodios of Boston, and clergy from the surrounding area.

The church was filled with faithful from throughout the Metropolis of Boston. Also present at the divine services was the Consulate General of Greece to Boston, Stratos Efthymiou. At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy the president of the parish council presented the Archbishop with a bronze figure of the Cathedral as a token of his first pastoral visit to the Metropolis of Boston and the Annunciation Cathedral.
