First Meeting of the 2019-2021 Metropolis of Boston Philoptochos Board
The Metropolis of Boston Philoptochos Board held their first meeting on Tuesday, September 17th at which the Executive Board was chosen. They are as follows:
President – Athena Kalyvas
Vice President – Savina Prokopios-Davos
2nd Vice President – Maria Tamvakologos
Treasurer – Irene Stefanakos
Recording Secretary – Dr. Calliope Galatis
Membership/Assistant Treasurer – Diane Stamatopoulos
Corresponding Secretary – Theresa Nibi
His Eminence began the meeting by thanking the previous Metropolis Board for their tireless efforts including the Philoptochos Conference in Springfield, MA and two very successful fundraisers held at the St. Demetrios Parish in Weston, MA. His Eminence encouraged the members of the Board to work together harmoniously over the next two years. In addition to the already successful programs, he encouraged the members to consider new ministries and outreach opportunities to the local Philoptochos Chapters including programs on issues of women’s health.
