Archpastoral Visit to St. Gregory the Theologian in Mansfield, MA

On Sunday, January 26, 2020 His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios visited the St. Gregory Parish in Mansfield, MA on the occasion of their feast day. Celebrating together with His Eminence were Fr. Ted Toppses , the pastor of the community, Fr. George Economou, Fr. Emmanuel Chris, and Archdeacon Dionysios Papiris.

At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy His Eminence tonsured one of the acolytes who serves in the Holy Altar, Linus LaFond. Fr. Theodore highlighted that young Linus has been preparing for this for over year and is always very attentive to the services and diligently carries out the service required by an acolyte.

His Eminence was overjoyed to attend the parish feast day luncheon and share in fellowship with the stewards of the community. The parish was happy to announce that the new iconostasis project will be completed  in the coming months - with the installation of the iconostasis and the commissioned icons.
