Youth & Young Adult Retreat - St. Demetrios, Saco, ME

On Saturday, October 17th, fifteen youth from the parishes of St. Demetrios in Saco, ME and St. Nicholas in Portsmouth, NH participated in a youth event led by staff from the Metropolis of Boston Camp. Over the course of two and a half hours, participants shared in some fun games and engaging discussion around the Orthodox Christian faith and the role saints play into their lives. At the conclusion of the youth event, the parish welcomed close to 30 young adults who participated in a discussion around personal responsibility and the role our faith plays in our decision-making process.
