Metropolitan Methodios celebrated Great Vespers at Holy Transfiguration Church in Lowell, Massachusetts. Concelebrating with His Eminence were the Rev. Fr. Gregory Floor, the parish priest, and clergy from throughout the Metropolis of Boston. The service was attended by parishioners and visitors, including the staff and campers of the Metropolis of Boston Camp (MBC), who gathered to mark the parish's feast day.

Also in attendance was a group of young adults from Thessaloniki, Greece, participating in the annual KOSMOS youth exchange program between the Metropolis of Neapolis and the Metropolis of Boston. Accompanied by their priest, the Rev. Fr. Dimitrios Moutsos, the group joined the parish community in prayer.

The Rev. Fr. Nicholas Pelekoudas delivered the homily, reflecting on the significance and spiritual meaning of the Feast of the Holy Transfiguration. In his remarks, Metropolitan Methodios welcomed the young adults from Greece and spoke on the importance of prayer, noting that even a simple prayer such as, "Lord, have mercy," should be a regular part of the Christian life.
