Metropolitan Methodios Celebrates with the Faithful at the Assumption Church Festival in Ipswich

This past weekend, Metropolitan Methodios visited the Assumption Church in Ipswich, MA, where he joined the faithful for the parish's annual Greek Festival.

His Eminence was warmly welcomed by the parish priest, the Rev. Fr. Chris Kolenstas, members of the Parish Council, and the many dedicated volunteers whose hard work made the weekend a success. Metropolitan Methodios enjoyed spending time with parishioners, greeting guests from throughout the North Shore, and witnessing the spirit of fellowship and hospitality that has become a hallmark of the Assumption community.

The festival once again highlighted the rich traditions of the Greek Orthodox faith, offering visitors delicious homemade Greek cuisine, live music, warm hospitality, and an opportunity to experience the life and ministry of the parish. Metropolitan Methodios expressed his heartfelt appreciation to many volunteers who gave so generously of their time and talents. He offered his prayers for God's continued blessings upon the parish and all who faithfully support its ministries throughout the year.
