Metropolitan Methodios recently visited several Greek festivals throughout the Metropolis of Boston, joining clergy, parishioners, volunteers, and visitors for a weekend of fellowship and celebration.
His Eminence began his visits at the Annunciation Church in Brockton, where he was greeted by the parish priest, Rev. Fr. Romanos Karanos, and members of the community. He later traveled to the South End of Boston to visit St. John the Baptist Church and its parish priest, Rev. Fr. Ted Barbas. At both festivals, His Eminence made his way around the various stations, greeting parishioners and volunteers and taking time to speak with members of each community.
Metropolitan Methodios also visited the Annunciation Cathedral in Brookline, Massachusetts, where he was welcomed by the parish priest, Rev. Fr. Odysseus Drossos, and members of the Cathedral community. His Eminence spent time greeting those gathered and visiting with the many volunteers who helped make the festival possible.
Throughout his visits, His Eminence thanked the parishioners and volunteers for the time and effort they dedicated to their communities. He offered his blessings and wished each parish a successful festival as they welcomed friends and visitors to experience the faith, culture, and hospitality of their communities.
