Dean Triantafilou

Constantine M. Triantafilou, has been the driving force behind International Orthodox Christian Charities, IOCC, for 16 years, but his dedication to helping those in need dates back to 1993, when he joined IOCC as commodities manager for the former Yugoslavia.

As Executive Director and CEO, Dean manages all facets of relief and development programs for IOCC, including its international headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland and 10 field offices in Eastern Europe, Africa, the Caucasus, the Balkans, and the Middle East. Under Dean’s leadership and vision, IOCC has grown from providing $70 million in humanitarian assistance to 11 countries during its first six years in existence, to a global humanitarian organization that has distributed nearly $500 million in emergency assistance and development programs to families and communities in more than 50 countries across four continents.

Dean is a graduate of Texas A&M University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in history.
