On Thursday evening, June 13, 2013 Clergy and laity from throughout the Metropolis joined Metropolitan Methodios in the Chapel of St. Andrew for the Vespers of St. Methodios the Confessor, Patriarch of Constantinople. Following the Vespers, the Metropolis Philoptochos Board hosted a wonderful reception in the Metropolis Center.

On Sunday, June 10, 2013 over 700 clergy and laity throughout New England filled the Lombardo's Function Facility in Randolph to celebrate the 27th Annual Metropolis of Boston Ministry Awards Dinner.

All 11 members of the 2013 Metropolis of Boston Mission Hogar Team lands in Guatemala City, Guatemala and arrives at the Hogar Raphael Orphanage!

May 17, 2013 - His Beatitude Archbishop Ieronymos II of Athens and All Greece along with the Beatitude's entourage visited the headquarters of the Metropolis of Boston in Brookline, Massachusetts.

BOSTON – Almost exactly one month after the Boston Marathon terrorist attack, His Beatitude Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece visited the site of the attack at Boylston Street, where an ad hoc memorial has been created by the thousands of visitors. His Beatitude was accompanied by Archbishop Demetrios of America, Metropolitan Methodios of Boston and the other members of his entourage from Greece.

The Metropolis of Boston Oratorical Festival Finals were held on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Metropolis Center in Brookline. This was the 30th anniversary of the St. John Chrysostom Oratorical Festival, a ministry of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese Department of Religious Education.
