KefiFM and HBBU Join Forces Again for 2025 Radiothon to Sponsor Children of the Metropolis of Boston Camp
Following the incredible success of last year’s event, which raised funds to send 10 children to the Metropolis of Boston Camp, KefiFM is once again partnering with Hellenic Boston Businesses Unite (HBBU) to host the 2025 Radiothon. From February 15-17, the Metropolis of Boston Camp hosted the second of two Winter Camp sessions, marking the official start of the 2025 camping season. The gathering, led by Metropolitan Methodios, provided an opportunity for spiritual fellowship, discussion, and updates on key ministry initiatives. In response to the devastating fires in Southern California, the Metropolis of Boston Philoptochos Board, with the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios, has contributed $10,000 to Saint Sophia Church in Los Angeles. This donation is intended to support brethren affected by the catastrophic fires, offering them some measure of comfort and relief during this difficult time. This past December, 27 young adults and members of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Boston journeyed to Mt. Athos, as part of a pilgrimage of faith. Thanks to the dedication, friendship and collaboration of His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios of Boston and Barnabas of Neapolis and Stavroupolis, the pilgrims were extended incredible hospitality at the Monastery of Xenophontos as they were immersed in the monastic life, all while uniquely connecting to their faith. His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios was pleased to join Archbishop Elpidophoros of America and many clergy from across the Archdiocesan District for their annual Clergy Lenten Retreat which took place at Hellenic College Holy Cross (HCHC). This special gathering provided an opportunity for clergy to come together in prayer, fellowship, and spiritual reflection in preparation for Great Lent.
