His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios sends Youth Workers to Lowell for an Advent Retreat

On Saturday, November 17th, His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios sent a team of youth workers to the Transfiguration Church in Lowell, M.A. for a Lowell District Retreat. Over fifty children from the Transfiguration Church and Holy Trinity, both in Lowell, attended the retreat. The purpose of the one day retreat was to teach Orthodox young people about the miracle of Jesus' birth and to serve as a general reminder of what Christmas is all about. The children in attendance were between the ages of three and seventeen, and all enjoyed the day of fun and games, arts and crafts, fellowship, and faith.
