METROPOLITAN METHODIOS INSTALLS FR. PELEKOUDAS AND FATHER LAWRENCE

His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios installed two clergymen this week who will guide their respective parishes into new chapters in the history of each community.  Fr. Nikolaos Pelekoudas was installed as Pastor of the Holy Trinity Church in Lowell, MA on Sunday, August 2.  Three days later, Fr. Nikolaos was among the many Priests attending the Vespers at the Transfiguration Church in Lowell, where Metropolitan Methodios installed Fr. Stephen Lawrence Pastor of that Parish.  Said His Eminence, “To you and to the congregation I address the words Saint Paul wrote to the Christians living in Rome, ‘I appeal to you, brethren, to take note of those who create dissension and difficulties, in opposition to the doctrine which you have been taught; avoid them.  For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by fair and flattering words they deceive the hearts of many.’ (Romans 16, 17-18)”

Fr. Nikolaos Pelekoukas installed Priest of the Holy Trinity Church in Lowell.
