Metropolitan Methodios Ordained Chris Moody to the Holy Diaconate

His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios ordained Chris Moody to the Holy Diaconate on Sunday, October 11, at the Holy Trinity Church in Lewiston, ME, the home parish of the newly ordained deacon.
Deacon Chris, 36, is a senior at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology. He and his wife, Victoria, are the parents of Elisabeth, 16, Josiah, 14, Moriah, 13, and Mary Bethany 11. A reception in his honor was tendered by the Holy Trinity stewards for the entire congregation which included the new deacon's parents, Michael and Sharon Moody.  The Rev. Fr. Theodore N. Toppses is the Pastor of the Holy Trinity Parish.
Deacon Chris was born in Bangor, ME. He is an Orthodox Christian Chaplain candidate in the National Guard.
