Transfiguration Family Welcomed Metropolitan Methodios

The Transfiguration family in Lowell, MA welcomed Metropolitan Methodios on Sunday, December 27, 2009.    During the Divine Liturgy, Metropolitan Methodios bestowed the Offikion of Confessor upon the Pastor of the Parish, the Rev. Fr. Stephen Lawrence.  The Church School children, dressed in their Christmas best, gathered at the Solea to take a photograph with Metropolitan Methodios, Fr. Theodore J. Barbas and Fr. Stephen Lawrence.  Following the Divine Liturgy everyone enjoyed fellowship in the Community Center, giving all the opportunity to exchange Christmas and New Year greetings.
