Metropolitan Methodios and Members of the Metropolis Philoptochos Board Visit our Nations Veterans at VA Medical Center in Bedford Mass.

On December 19, 2012 His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios together with Georgia Lagadinos and Eleni Stamboulidis of the Metropolis Philoptochos Board visited the largest homeless veterans program in New England located at the VA Medical Center in Bedford, Massachusetts.

The highlight of the visit was spending time with our veterans during this holiday season and participating in the Christmas Party celebration for approximately 50 veterans.  During the celebration the Metropolitan presented each veteran with Christmas gifts from the Metropolis.  It was heart-warming and invaluable to experience the joy, expression of love and appreciation that radiated from our veterans.
