On the evening of October 14, 2017, His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios, Geron of America, and His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios of Boston attended the Centennial Gala of the Saints Constantine and Helen Parish of Cambridge, Massachusetts. Over 300 past and current parishioners gathered to celebrate and remember the history of their beloved community.  They emphasized the importance of remembering the founding members of the community and to emulate their example of dedication, love, and faith as they look towards the future of their community. On Sunday, October 15th, His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios and Metropolitan Methodios celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Saints Constantine and Helen parish along with Fr Asterios Gerosterios. His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios expressed his gratitude to Fr. Asterios for the sterling ministry he has offered as the pastor of this community for the last 40 years. In his sermon, His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios, recalled his fond memories of the Saints Constantine and Helen Parish, which he has been connected to since he was a doctoral student at Harvard University. His Eminence congratulated the congregation on this milestone and encouraged the parishioners to continue to faithfully support their community.
