Metropolis of Boston St. John of Damascus School of Byzantine Music

With the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios, the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Boston is announcing that the St. John of Damascus School of Byzantine Music will resume classes on September 25. The School was established in 2014, in order to equip students with a mastery of the skills required for chanting the sacred hymns of the Orthodox Church.

The instructors this semester are Rev. Fr. Romanos Karanos, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Byzantine Liturgical Music at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, and Kamal Hourani, Cert. Byz. Mus.

The classes meet once a week for two hours at the Boston Metropolis Offices, 162 Goddard Avenue, Brookline, MA 02445. The tuition for the semester is $500.
