Metropolis of Boston GOYA Fall Camp 2018

The Metropolis of Boston GOYA Fall Camp took place on Columbus Day weekend from Friday, October 5 - October 8, 2018. The weekend was a perfect time for campers and staff to Recharge. Reconnect. Retreat. With over 130 MBC campers and staff the weekend included worship, sessions, and camp wide activities all surrounded by the beautiful New Hampshire foliage. The weekend camp sessions allow first time campers the opportunity to experience what camp has to offer without the commitment of a whole week. It also offers returning campers and staff the opportunity by to reconnect with each other and recharge their spiritual relationship, leaving camp with a renewed conviction.

That same weekend the Antiochians Orthodox Diocese of Worcester held its Family Fall Retreat along with a SOYO youth group weekend. MBC and SOYO participated in several joint activities giving the campers them the opportunity to meet other Orthodox Christian Youth.

On Sunday all the faithful gathered at the Saint George Chapel to participate in the Divine Liturgy, which was presided over by His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios.

On Sunday evening, MBC took its first ever Fall Camp field trip to Canobie Lake Park in Salem, NH where campers and their staff were able to enjoy the afternoon and evening at the amusement park.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the Metropolis of Boston GOYA Winter Camp, which will take place on Presidents’ Day Weekend - Friday, February 15 - February 18, 2019.
