Press Release: Rev. Fr. Anthony Evangelatos Commences Duties as Spiritual Leader of Arlington’s Saint Athanasius the Great Church

(Brookline, MA) – The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Boston has announced that Reverend Fr. Anthony S. Evangelatos has commenced formal duties as the new spiritual leader and priest (also known as “Proistamenos”) of Saint Athanasius the Great Church in Arlington.
His Eminence, Metropolitan Methodios, installed Fr. Evangelatos during Vespers Services on January 17th at Saint Athanasius. Hundreds of parishioners and fellow clergy from throughout New England joined His Eminence to celebrate the beginning of a new chapter in the parish. Fr. Evangelatos assumed his duties on February 1st.
“Father Evangelatos will work with all the brothers and sisters of Arlington’s beloved Parish to ensure that the entire community finds continued spiritual growth in our Church’s divine mission, tenets of Faith and commitment to Christ” said Metropolitan Methodios.
