Installation of Fr. Timothy Curren
On Sunday, October 4th, His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios installed Fr. Timothy Curren as the Presiding Priest at the parish of St. George in Centerville, MA. In his remarks, His Eminence expressed his high regard for the parish and indicated to Fr. Timothy that the wonderful, God-fearing community would welcome him as a father, son, and even grandson. Additionally, His Eminence asked Fr. Timothy to keep himself immersed in Holy Scripture to faithfully guide his ministry at the parish. In turn, Fr. Timothy shared his excitement and gratitude for the assignment. He thanked His Eminence for his guidance and pristine pastoral example throughout his seven years of priesthood. In addition to the many parishioners that came to welcome Fr. Timothy, Fr. Panagiotis Giannakopoulos, former Presiding Priest of the St. George Church, and Fr. Harry Vulopas, joined His Eminence in prayerfully welcoming Fr. Timothy and his family to the community.
