Over 100 renowned Musicians and Singers are gathering to participate in the Boston Metropolis Chorale Group and Boston Metropolis Philharmonic Orchestra

CHRISTOS PAPOUTSY, Santouri and Conductor
FREDERICK ELIAS, Violin and Conductor
JOHN MARCO, Clarinet and Conductor
ANDREA PAPOUTSY, Flute and Choral Conductor

Mezzo-soprano PENELOPE BITZAS has appeared as a soloist under such notable conductors as Kurt Masur, Seiji Ozawa, Gustav Meier, Luciano Beiro, Richard Westenberg and George Tsontakis.

IOANNA SFEKAS-KARVELAS, California Opera Historian, Greek-American dramatic soprano, studied at the National Conservatory of Athens in Greece. She has since become an ambassador of Greek Classical Music.

STEPHANIE TIA KACOYANIS is a professional mezzo-soprano opera singer singing with such groups as Opera delWest, Indian Hill Opera and the Brookline Chorus.

KATERINA GEOMELOS has recorded two CD’s, which have been released in Greece as well as the United States.

GEORGIA THEO (KOKORAS) is a talented musician from Pennsylvania with an extensive repertoire of songs including traditional regional folk songs of Greece and Asia Minor, as well as the most popular songs from Greek nightclubs.
