Rev. Fr. Basil Arabatzis

Born in Alexandria Egypt. Had to leave Alexandria & moved to Athens for one and one half years then moved to New York City. Went to school and college in New York and then worked for a little while before attending Holy Cross School of Theology in Brookline, MA.

Married Paula Pizanis after graduation and then continued studies in Aristotle University in Thessaloniki Greece. Returned to United States, was ordained in 1984, served in St Paraskevi in Greenlawn, L.I. as an assistant presbyter for two years and then transferred to St Demetrios in Biddeford, Maine. The Community relocated on January 2, 2000AD dot our present location in Saco, Maine.
