Pastoral Visit of His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios - Transfiguration, Lowell, MA

The Transfiguration parish in Lowell, MA, welcomed His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios on Sunday, February 21.  As with many communities due to the pandemic, this was the first time the Spiritual Father of the Metropolis of Boston was able to visit the Transfiguration community in two years to lead us in worship and join us in fellowship.

His Eminence lifted the hearts of the faithful who were able to participate in Liturgy in person while following pandemic protocols, and those who participated virtually through the live streaming of the Orthros and Liturgy.  Many of the faithful shared with Fr. Tom Chininis, proistamenos of the parish, how moved they were during the service and how much they appreciated the message offered by the Metropolitan feeling encouraged to welcome and participate in Great Lent and Pascha this year.
