Reverend Father Thomas Chininis Assigned to the Annunciation Cathedral in Boston

 

His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios announced that the Reverend Father Thomas Chininis has been assigned to the Annunciation Cathedral in Boston and will begin serving the parish on Sunday, January 16th, 2022. 

Father Tom graduated from Wittenberg University with a BA in Business Administration and from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology with an M.Div.  Rev. Chininis currently is the President of the Metropolis of Boston Clergy Brotherhood, serves on the Archdiocesan Presbyters Council, and is a member of the Metropolis of Boston Council.  He has held leadership positions with the Nashua Area Interfaith Council, and the president of the New Hampshire Council of Churches.  He has worked extensively with several summer camp programs of the Orthodox Church and has also served as advisor to OCF groups at Tufts University, UMass-Lowell, and St. Anslem College.  Rev. Chininis is married to Karen and they have three children who live in the Boston area.

Prior to his appointment, Fr. Chininis had been serving the Transfiguration parish in Lowell, MA since 2012.  He has also served the St. Philip parish in Nashua, NH, St. Spyridon in Newport, RI and the Holy Trinity community in Dallas TX.
