Greek Independence Day Celebration on March 25th at the Braintree, MA Town Hall

On Saturday, March 25, 2023 Mayor Kokoros welcomed His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios of Boston along with Fr. Theodore Toppses and the church community of St Catherine of Braintree, the Honorable Symeon Tegos, Consul General of the Hellenic Republic; the President of F.H.A.S.N.E. Vasilios Kafkas; and President of Pontian Society of Panagia Soumela George Gialtouridis at a Greek Independence Day Celebration and Greek Flag Raising held at Town Hall. Attendees were entertained with Greek poems, songs and dances performed by St. Catherine’s Greek School, St. Catherine’s Youth Group and the Pontian Society of Panagia Soumela in Braintree.
