Pastoral Visit - St. George Cathedral, Springfield, MA

On Sunday, March 19th, His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios was warmly welcomed at the Cathedral of St. George Springfield, MA. The Metropolitan, along with Fr Dionysios Koulianos and the faithful commemorated the Veneration of the Holy Cross on the Third Sunday of Lent. At the conclusion of the Liturgy, His Eminence tonsured three altar boys into the Order of Readers. At the reception following the liturgy, the children of the faithful presented His Eminence with a welcome sign made by them. In his homily, he asked the faithful to “listen to the voice of Christ inviting you to take up your cross to follow Him”.
