Greek Heritage Night Raises Funds for Metropolis of Boston Camp with Record-Breaking Support
Wednesday, June 11, 2025The Greek-American community came together at this year’s Greek Heritage Night, hosted by the Alpha Omega Council in support of the Metropolis of Boston Camp. The event, held in partnership with the Boston Red Sox, welcomed an enthusiastic crowd, with over 3,000 tickets sold for the Greek heritage event, making it one of the most successful gatherings in the event’s history.
As always, the annual celebration was not just about Greek pride—it was a charitable effort with lasting impact. This year’s net proceeds will support the Gym & Field House Project at the Saint Methodios Faith and Heritage Center. The Metropolis of Boston Camp extends its deepest gratitude to the Alpha Omega Council, especially Harry Vlachos, Chris Chrisafides, and all the dedicated members of the organizing committee, whose hard work and vision made this event possible.
Ambassador Symeon Tegos, Consul General of Greece in Boston, attended on behalf of the Hellenic Republic, offering his support for the event and its charitable mission. Representing His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios and the Metropolis of Boston Camp was Fr. Ted Barbas. A special thank you goes to Mia Hathaway, who proudly represented the Saint Methodios Faith and Heritage Center and the Metropolis of Boston Camp during the evening's festivities.
