Metropolitan Methodios Attends Salutation Service at Annunciation Church in Cranston, RI

On Friday evening, His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios of Boston presided at the Salutations to the Theotokos services at the Annunciation Church in Cranston, RI. His Eminence offered words of encouragement and congratulations to Fr. Nicholas Lanzourakis, the newly appointed Proistamenos of the parish. Metropolitan Methodios thanked Fr. Andrew George for his sterling ministry at the Annunciation parish and to continue to encourage and mentor Fr. Nicholas as he assumes his responsibilities.

A significant highlight of the evening was the tonsuring of ten young altar boys by Metropolitan Methodios, marking their official dedication to serving in the holy altar. The moment was met with great joy and reverence by the faithful in attendance, as the newly tonsured altar servers embraced their sacred responsibility.

Following the service, a reception was held in the parish hall, where parishioners gathered to celebrate the special occasion.
