Metropolitan Methodios Celebrates Divine Liturgy and Honors the Memory of Fr. Tom Fitzgerald at St. Nicholas in Manchester

Metropolitan Methodios celebrated the Divine Liturgy at St. Nicholas Church in Manchester, NH, together with Fr. Philip Halikias, the presiding priest, and Dn. Vasilios Panagopoulos. The faithful gathered in prayer for this blessed occasion, which also included a memorial service for the late Fr. Tom Fitzgerald, honoring his life and ministry. At the conclusion of the services, His Eminence extended his heartfelt wishes to the community for a New Year filled with health, peace, and God’s abundant blessings.

In his remarks, Metropolitan Methodios reflected with gratitude and emotion on the life and legacy of Fr. Tom, recalling his many years of devoted service to the Church, his great contribution to the Orthodox - Catholic dialogue, and his deep love for the St. Nicholas community. He spoke of Fr. Tom’s pastoral care, faithfulness, and tireless dedication, which left an enduring mark on the parish and all who knew him. His Eminence encouraged the faithful to honor his memory by continuing to serve the Church with the same spirit of love, commitment, and humility.
