Sunday of Orthodoxy Vespers at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Cathedral
On Sunday, March 9, the faithful gathered at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Cathedral in Cambridge, MA, for the solemn and joyous celebration of the Sunday of Orthodoxy Vespers. The service was presided over by His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios, who led the congregation in worship, marking this significant occasion in the liturgical calendar.
Parishioners from across the Metropolis of Boston were invited to attend and participate, joining together with Pan-Orthodox brothers and sisters in a beautiful expression of faith and unity. Joined in the celebration were His Grace Bishop Anthony of Synada, Fr. Ted Barbas, Chancellor of the Metropolis of Boston, many clergy from around the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Boston, the Antiochian Orthodox Diocese of Worcester and New England, and the Serbian Orthodox Diocese.
The service was a profound and moving testament to the shared faith and spiritual heritage of Orthodox Christians. Following the Vespers, attendees gathered in the parish hall for light dinner and refreshments, fostering fellowship and strengthening the bonds of the Orthodox community.
This sacred gathering served as a reminder of the unity and tradition that Sunday of Orthodoxy represents, bringing together clergy and laity in a shared celebration of our Holy Orthodox Faith.
