Metropolitan Methodios attended a joyful celebration in honor of the Greek Independence Day of March 25th at the Consulate of Greece in Boston. This cherished annual gathering brought together children from the Greek Afternoon Schools and the Hellenic Academy in Lowell, MA, who filled the Consulate with patriotic spirit, offering poems and songs in remembrance of Greece’s sacred struggle for freedom. It is always a special and moving occasion to witness the next generation honor their heritage with such pride, faith, and enthusiasm.

The celebration was graciously hosted by The Honorable Consul General Symeon Tegos, whose warm welcome and hospitality made the event all the more meaningful. His Eminence offered his blessings and reflected on the enduring connection between faith and freedom, encouraging the young participants to remain rooted in their Orthodox faith and Hellenic identity. Metropolitan Methodios also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the teachers and students for their meaningful participation, commending their dedication to preserving and celebrating our rich Greek Orthodox heritage.
