Monday, April 13, 2026

Metropolitan Methodios presided over the Anastasi Service at the Annunciation Cathedral in Boston, proclaiming with the faithful the triumphant message of the Resurrection: Christ is Risen! Joined by brother clergy from throughout the Metropolis, the Cathedral was filled with light, prayer, and the resounding hymn of victory as the faithful gathered to celebrate the rising of our Lord.

Among those present was Archbishop Richard Henning, reflecting a spirit of Christian fellowship and mutual respect on this most holy feast. The celebration was further honored by the presence of Haris Doukas, the Mayor of Athens and a leading public servant of the Hellenic capital, who attended with his family. Also in attendance was Symeon Tegos, the Consul General of Greece in Boston and the official diplomatic representative of the Hellenic Republic in the region, who joined with his family in celebrating this sacred feast.

Together, clergy, dignitaries, and the faithful formed a beautiful and unified gathering, lifting their voices in joy and proclaiming the Resurrection of Christ, the light and hope of the world.
