Metropolis Greek Schools Gather in Honor of the Three Hierarchs

Greek schools from throughout the Metropolis gathered for a joyful program celebrating the Feast of the Three Hierarchs, honoring the legacy of Saint Basil the Great, Saint Gregory the Theologian, and Saint John Chrysostom. Students offered a beautiful presentation of poems, songs, and traditional Greek dances, showcasing both their cultural heritage and their growing love for the faith and Greek language. The Honorable Symeon Tegos offered warm greetings on behalf of the Greek Consulate, commending the children, educators, and families for their dedication to preserving Hellenic education and Orthodox Christian values.
Fr. Alexander Pretorian, recently appointed head of the Metropolis Greek Education Committee expressed heartfelt thanks to all participants and guests who came together to share in this festive annual celebration. The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Aristotle Michopoulos, who spoke on the significance of the Three Hierarchs and the enduring reasons the Church continues to honor them as models of faith, learning, and service. The program concluded with the blessing and words of gratitude from Metropolitan Methodios, who thanked the children, their parents, and teachers for their commitment and love, and for coming together to celebrate this beautiful annual tradition.
