Saturday, April 25, 2026
The Sisterhood of Presbyteres of the Metropolis of Boston warmly welcomed married and engaged couples from Hellenic College Holy Cross to the Metropolis Center for a special luncheon gathering marked by fellowship, encouragement, and meaningful dialogue. The visit provided an opportunity for students preparing for a life in ministry to connect personally with the clergy wives of the Metropolis and experience the supportive community that surrounds parish life throughout New England.
During the luncheon, the Presbyteres hosted an open forum, inviting the couples to ask questions and engage in conversation about the realities of ministry, service to the Church, and the unique blessings and challenges of life as presbyteres and clergy families. With warmth and sincerity, the Presbyteres shared their experiences, offering insight, guidance, and heartfelt encouragement to those discerning their future roles within the Church. The gathering reflected a spirit of mentorship and unity, strengthening the bond between theological formation and lived ministry.
The Presbyteres expressed great joy in welcoming the students, extending to them the loving embrace of His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios and the entire Metropolis of Boston. They affirmed that these future clergy families will always have a home within the parishes of the Metropolis, where they will be supported, encouraged, and embraced as they continue their journey in faith and service.
