Metropolitan Methodios Celebrates Second Sunday of Lent at Holy Trinity in Concord

Metropolitan Methodios of Boston celebrated the Divine Liturgy at Holy Trinity Church in Concord, NH, on the Second Sunday of Great Lent, dedicated to Saint Gregory Palamas. The service brought together the faithful of the parish for prayer and reflection during the sacred Lenten season. Following the Divine Liturgy, His Eminence offered a memorial service for the late and beloved Fr. George Papademetriou, commemorating the one-year anniversary of his repose and honoring his many years of devoted priestly service to the Church.

During his visit, Metropolitan Methodios also recognized the parish priest, Fr. Constantine Newman, on the occasion of his 33 years of priesthood, expressing heartfelt gratitude for his faithful ministry and leadership. He also thanked Presvytera Anna Newman for her many years of dedication and service to the church community. Joining the celebration was longtime friend of the Metropolis and the Concord parish, Dr. Lewis Patsavos. Following the services, the Metropolitan shared in fellowship with the parish community, warmly greeting the faithful and many children and converts and offering his encouragement and blessings to all.
