Metropolitan Methodios Presides Over Bridegroom Services in Somerville and Brockton

Metropolitan Methodios continued the solemn journey of Holy Week by presiding over the sacred Bridegroom Services (Nymphios) on Sunday evening at Dormition Church in Somerville, MA, and on Holy Monday evening at Annunciation Church in Brockton, MA. Clergy and faithful gathered in prayerful reverence as the Church calls her children to spiritual vigilance, repentance, and readiness to encounter Christ, the Bridegroom, who comes in the middle of the night.
In both communities, parishioners were deeply moved by the hymnology and solemn beauty of the services, as families and young people stood together in quiet reflection before the icon of Christ the Bridegroom. His Eminence offered words of encouragement, inviting the faithful to enter Holy Week with watchful hearts and renewed devotion, embracing the call to draw nearer to Christ through prayer, humility, and love as they journey toward His Passion and glorious Resurrection.
