On May 18, His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios warmly welcomed a delegation of young Greek American leaders representing several prominent organizations from the New England area. The visiting groups included the National Hellenic Student Association, the Young Adult League (YAL) chapters of St. George in Lynn and Saint Athanasius in Arlington, the Sons of Pericles chapter in Lowell, and Nea Parea.
The meeting provided an opportunity for these emerging leaders—Evangelos Meltsakos, Stavros Ioakimidis, George Tsitsopoulos, Vana Servos, and Anna Stefanides—to share the impactful work of their organizations and seek guidance from Metropolitan Methodios. The young adults discussed their dedication to promoting Hellenic identity, fostering Orthodox faith, and creating meaningful connections among peers who share similar values.
In a show of unity and commitment to the community, the organizations collectively raised funds to support the Metropolis of Boston Camp, ensuring that future generations can continue to experience its enriching programs. Metropolitan Methodios offered his encouragement, archpastoral advice, and blessings, affirming the vital role these young leaders play in shaping the next generation of Greek American leadership in New England.
