Saturday of the Fifth Week

The answer to life’s most troubling questions is simple. God wants us to love! We learn to love by look- ing at the creator of Love – God Himself. This love is manifested in Jesus. The way He lived, the way He taught, all that He did shows us what true love is. Our understanding of Jesus as the Way is under- stood in our understanding of Jesus as love and is shown to us by the way in which God loves in and through Jesus. In the Lenten season we are encouraged by the Church to deepen out understanding of Jesus in our lives and to grow closer to God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, who created us, sustains us, and fortifies us in our journey through life.
