In September 2022 the Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Worcester, Massachusetts was presented with a very generous donation from the National Ladies Philoptochos Society that will be used to replace and upgrade old and non-functioning furniture within the first-floor subacute unit.

 

Presenting the check was Athena Kalyvas, Metropolis of Boston Philoptochos President and several Metropolis of Boston Board Members including Eleni Stamboulidis, Theodora Stathopoulos, Yannoula Ballassi and Matina Pappas. Also in attendance were Fr. Christopher Stamas of St. Spyridon’s Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Worcester, Fr. Dean Paleologos (former priest at St. Spyridon’s) and his wife Presvytera Cynthia, Barbara Douka, President of St. Spyridon Philoptochos, Celeste and Demetri Moschos, and Holy Trinity Board Members, Thomas Fitzpatrick and Margarite Landry.
