Roslindale GOYA Brings Holiday Cheer to the Metropolis of Boston Center

The GOYA from St. Nectarios in Roslindale visited the Metropolis of Boston Center on Thursday, December 12th. The highlight of their visit was the decoration of Metropolitan Methodios’ office. The GOYA members brought a real Christmas tree, which they adorned with ornaments, lights, and heartfelt Christmas spirit.

During their time at the center, the youth also enjoyed a tour, which offered them a glimpse into the daily operations and history of the Metropolis of Boston. This experience deepened their understanding of the broader mission of their faith community and its leadership.

In addition to the holiday activities, the GOYA members shared stories about their involvement in the Metropolis of Boston’s events and programs, including their experiences in the Metropolis Basketball League and the Metropolis of Boston Camp. They reflected on the fellowship and life lessons gained through their participation, emphasizing how it has strengthened their faith and friendships.

This visit was a testament to the faith and dedication of the youth and their Youth Director, Angeliki Constantine, and their advisors Angelika Katsinis and Stelina Michaelidis.

The Roslindale GOYA’s thoughtful efforts brought smiles to everyone at the Metropolis Center and highlighted the true meaning of Christmas—faith, love, and giving.
