Metropolis of Boston Camp Winter Camp Session 1

Philoptochos Christmas Party

From January 18-20, 2025, the Metropolis of Boston Camp welcomed over 100 staff members and campers to the St. Methodios Faith and Heritage Center in Contoocook, NH, for the first of two Winter Camp programs. Building on the success of the MBC program, two Winter Camps were offered for the first time in 2024, and due to continued growth, a second camp was introduced this year.

In addition to engaging in snow-related activities, daily services, and catechetical lessons, campers enjoyed a weekend filled with fun and fellowship. A key highlight was the two field trips: some campers visited Pat’s Peak for tubing, skiing, and snowboarding, while others embarked on the popular "Tour de Tooky," exploring the charming sites of Contoocook, affectionately known as "Tooky."

His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios joined the camp on Sunday for Divine Liturgy, as he does every session of camp without fail. During his address, His Eminence encouraged campers to read the Gospel daily, emphasizing its importance as the most valuable book available to us, surpassing all others they will encounter in their education.

The Metropolis of Boston Camp is eagerly anticipating its second Winter Camp, set to take place from February 15-17, 2025. Those interested may join the waiting list or learn more about the summer program by visiting [metropolisofbostoncamp.org](http://metropolisofbostoncamp.org).
