Metropolitan Methodios Joins Archbishop Elpidophoros at HCHC for Archdiocesan District Clergy Lenten Retreat
His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios was pleased to join Archbishop Elpidophoros of America and many clergy from across the Archdiocesan District for their annual Clergy Lenten Retreat which took place at Hellenic College Holy Cross (HCHC). This special gathering provided an opportunity for clergy to come together in prayer, fellowship, and spiritual reflection in preparation for Great Lent.
The retreat featured insightful presentations by Fr. Luke Veronis and Fr. George Parsenios, who offered thought-provoking talks designed to inspire and strengthen the clergy in their pastoral ministries. Their reflections provided valuable guidance as the clergy continue their mission of serving their communities with faith and devotion. Metropolitan Methodios joined beloved clergy for lunch, where they shared warm conversations and reflections on their ministries.
To conclude the day, Archbishop Elpidophoros and Metropolitan Methodios participated in the traditional Vasilopita cutting. Clergy and students of HCHC joined in this meaningful tradition, celebrating the spirit of faith and fraternity that binds them together.
The presence of Metropolitan Methodios at this year’s retreat was a joyful occasion, as he reconnected with familiar faces of fellow clergymen. His Eminence’s participation underscored the importance of such gatherings in fostering spiritual renewal and unity among the clergy of our Archdiocese.
