St. Nectarios GOYA of Roslindale Hosts a GOYA Group From Chicago

On Friday, March 1st, following their visit to the Metropolis where Metropolitan Methodios welcomed the Ascension GOYA from Lincolnshire, IL, the St. Nectarios GOYA in Roslindale hosted the Chicago youth group,  who were visiting Boston for the weekend! The two Goyas gathered together for a beautiful evening that included vespers, and an icon tour where everyone learned about the life of St. Nectarios, the patron saint of the church, and were able to venerate his relics as well as a piece of his vestments. Afterwards, everyone headed downstairs for a fun evening of fellowship! The Rosi GOYA advisors cooked burgers, chicken nuggets, and fries and everyone enjoyed desserts, made by @DesignsByDespina, one of the Rosi goyans! After dinner the two Goyas participated in ice breakers and spent time Greek dancing together! We are so honored to have been able to host the visiting GOYA and hope that everyone made connections that last a lifetime!
